MOU to foster specialized talent in the SW field & mutual development


AI-based digital transformation specialist TOBESOFT will launch an industrial exchange with Chosun University of Science and Technology to foster IT professionals.

TOBESOFT (CEO Lee Kyong-chan) announced on the 20th that it has signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chosun University of Science and Technology to foster specialized talents in the software (SW) field and mutual development.

The MOU is designed to promote mutual development through the fostering of IT professionals and technological advancement through industry-academia cooperation between the two institutions, and to promote manpower exchange and joint research for the development of the IT industry. 

Under the agreement, the two institutions will continue to cooperate in various areas, including ▲ cooperation in the operation of majors linked to the computer science department and regional specialties ▲ educational cooperation to foster software development manpower ▲ business linkage and information provision and promotion to support employment ▲ operation of the Higher Vocational Education Base District Project (HiVE Type 1) education program.

The Department of Computer Science at Chosun University of Science and Technology aims to foster customized digital experts who will lead the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, focusing on convergence technology using AI and software implementation technology.

In particular, through the agreement, TOBESOFT donated its UI/UX development platform Nexacro worth 100 million won to Chosun University of Science and Technology for free to actively participate in fostering developers. Nexacro is the No. 1 integrated development platform in the domestic market, with 7,000 deployment references. 

After the signing ceremony, officials toured the software development labs where Nexacro will be used to teach students, and visited the Student Dream Center, an information search and discussion space, and the Job cafe, a student employment center, to learn about job opportunities.
