TOBESOFT Maximizes System Transition Efficiency with Its "Conversion Service"

- From System Rebuilding Consulting to More Efficient System Transition Development
- Removal of ActiveX and the need to download any additional software patches
-Support for HTML5 and cross browser

TOBESOFT (www.tobesoft.co.kr), an IT company specializing in integrated platforms, said on May 18 that it would begin commercializing its Conversion Service in earnest through nexacro platform, the company's proprietary UI platform.

Conversion Service converts the legacy system that was developed during the initial IT system development period into an enhanced system that removes ActiveX and eliminates the need for additional software downloads, while delivering full support for HTML5, cross browser, and mobile devices. In particular, the service is optimized to be redesigned into a state-of-the-art web-standard system from the legacy system based on MiPlatform and XPLATFORM that led the era of X-Internet and Rich Internet Application.

Conversion Service to be launched by TOBESOFT will be provided jointly by Yes Communication, an IT consulting firm. The service is capable of transitioning systems in a stable manner through features that retain the strengths of the existing system while converting the system quickly and seamlessly into one based on HTML5. For this reason, development costs are reduced, redevelopment time is shortened, and risks involved in new system development are eliminated.

Choi Yong-ho, CEO of TOBESOFT in charge of domestic business, said, "For private enterprises and public organizations that intend to maximize their value for IT expenditure while strengthening their competitive advantage by introducing state-of-the-art technology, there are so many issues to worry about before deciding to upgrade their IT system." Added to this, they are faced with issues like removing the ActiveX requirement. Under these circumstances, we forecast that the demand for system transitioning will increase at a rapid speed." "Through the continuous technical partnership with Yes Communication, we'd like to make meaningful contributions to creating a healthy IT ecosystem by supplying the latest systems to corporations and public agencies," he added.

TOBESOFT also said that the case of the VAN management system that has been in place in Smartro, an integrated electronic payment company, is the most successful example of the many highly productive system conversions.
