TOBESOFT’s Japanese Unit Nexaweb Japan Signs Memorandum with Japanese Partner at the “Good to Great Business Plaza 2016”

TOBESOFTs Japanese Unit Nexaweb Japan
Signs Memorandum with Japanese Partner at the Good to Great Business Plaza 2016

TOBESOFT (www.tobesoft.co.kr), an IT company specializing in integrated platforms, said on May 20 that its Japanese unit Nexaweb Japan (www.nexaweb.co.jp) has signed a memorandum with TDI Co. Ltd. (www.tdi.co.jp), a Japanese system integrator and partner firm.[1]

The signing ceremony was held on the 19th at the Good to Great Business Plaza 2016 event at the Ritz-Carlton Seoul. With the latest signing of the memorandum, TDi will take full advantage of the nexacro platform, the UI development platform developed by TOBESOFT and Nexaweb Japan, in rebuilding its enterprise system.

As the first project after signing the memorandum, TDI won a project to improve the internal management system of a Japanese education service firm by introducing the nexacro platform. In landing the deal, TDI stressed the technical superiority of the nexacro platform while the client firm adopted the platform based on its ability to retain the strengths of the existing system while improving stability and delivering higher performance. Additionally, the ease in grafting state-of-the-art technology and the feature of one source multi use[2] were important factors in choosing the nexacro platform.

Oshima, the sales director, said, "Most systems in Japan tend to be in use for such a long time and are unable to transition easily to a packaged system because so much know-how has been accumulated in the legacy system. The nexacro platform focuses on supporting a highly variable interface, which makes it the ideal solution for improving development productivity and enhancing quality. The fact that a Japanese company acknowledged the technical superiority of a Korean homegrown software product and finally decided to introduce the nexacro platform for its internal system modernization is something to think about for the future success of the platform."

Choi Chang-whan, CEO of Nexaweb Japan, "The world's enterprise mobile application market is growing at a rapid pace. I am sure the core functionality of the nexacro platform that creates enterprise apps optimized for the mobile environment was the main reason for the Japanese company's decision to adopt the platform. I hope the popularity of the nexacro platform spreads beyond the IT market of Korea and Japan to the whole world."

In the Good to Great Business Plaza 2016 event to be held between May 19 and 20, hidden champions that play a critical role in the nation's export and buyers whose potential to help Korean exporters expand their overseas business substantially will be invited and hold one-on-one consulting sessions. The event was organized jointly by the Small and Medium Business Administration, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
