TOBESOFT, E-Library Solution Gains Wings
Introduced nationwide in universities, public institutions, and hospitals...Overseas expansion to Mongolia and Vietnam

With the trend of non-face-to-face services and the simplification of electronic devices such as tablets, e-libraries are becoming more common, and TOBESOFT's e-library solutions are spreading rapidly.

DX specialist TOBESOFT (CEO Lee Kyong-chan) announced on the 13th that it has deployed e-library solutions at the National Assembly Library and Kyunghee University.

The e-library solution improves the efficiency of library operations for administrators and provides services that are easier and more convenient for users. In addition to simple tasks such as borrowing and returning books, it enables users to perform various functions online, such as searching for various literature information such as e-books and electronic materials, as well as printing materials and requesting books.

Since introducing its e-library UI/UX solution in 2006, TOBESOFT has been expanding its solutions to all areas including schools, public institutions, and enterprises nationwide through continuous solution advancement and maintenance.

As the paradigm of data usage among university students, who use libraries the most, is rapidly shifting to digital, Korean universities, including Yonsei University and Sungshin Women's University, have been the largest adopters of e-library packages. Kyung Hee University recently implemented a cloud-based e-library platform solution.

In fact, according to the Korea Education Research and Information Service (KERIS)'s '2022 University Library Survey Analysis Results', the number of commercial DBs (electronic resource databases) used per student, which shows the status of electronic resource use, increased from 277.1 in 2021 to 407.2 in 2022, a significant increase of about 46.95% year-on-year.

The company has also deployed solutions at the Mongolian International University and the Vietnam National Police University, and has entered Uzbekistan to upgrade the e-library system of the Naboy National Library.

The National Assembly Library, which has been using the solution since 2019, also adopted TOBESOFT for the information infrastructure construction project of the National Assembly Busan Library. The National Library of Korea and the Daejeon Hanbadang Library have also advanced their services.

“With our e-library solution, we strive to upgrade our system every year to support optimal operational processes such as work automation, data compatibility, and multilingual support,” said a TOBESOFT representative.
