Establishing an industry-academia cooperation system & fostering all-in-one SW talents
AI-based digital transformation specialist, TOBESOFT, is partnering with Hansung University to foster IT professionals.
TOBESOFT (CEO Lee Kyong-chan) announced on the 23rd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hansung University to establish an industry-academia cooperation system and foster all-in-one software (SW) talent.
The signing ceremony, which was held in the large conference room of Hansung University's Sangsang Hall, was attended by TOBESOFT President Lee Da-woon, Vice President Lee Woo-cheol, General Manager Kim Hak-soo, Product Expansion Team Leader Kim Jae-beom, Hansung University President Lee Chang-won, Vice President Jang Myung-hee, Vice President for Academic Affairs Jang Myung-hee, SW Center for University Business Kim Nam-yoon, and SW AI Academic Cooperation Center Director Yoo Sang-mi.
The MOU is designed to promote mutual development through the fostering of IT professionals and technological advancement, and to promote manpower exchange and joint research for the development of the IT industry.
Hansung University is the only university in Seoul to be selected as a 'Software Center University in 2024' by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Information and Communication Planning and Evaluation Institute, and is actively engaged in industry-academia collaboration to foster SW-AI talent.
Currently, 20 percent of its students are majoring in SW-related majors through industry-led SW education, and the university is expanding its participation in industry education to strengthen the education of its majors and focus on cultivating students' practical skills through customized content provision.
On the same day, TOBESOFT also donated 100million won worth of Nexacro to Hansung University. Nexacro is the No. 1 integrated development platform in the domestic market, with 7,000 deployment references.
Previously, TOBESOFT held the 8th edition of its training program, “Nexacro Expert Training Course,” as a special course for university students at Hansung University. In order to strengthen students' practical skills, five students were selected by the professors of the School of Computer Science and Engineering to participate in the 8th edition of the training program and received intensive theoretical and practical training in the form of one-on-one projects for two months.
TOBESOFT and Hansung University will continue to foster Nexacro experts through industry-academia collaboration to strengthen students' practical skills and support their employment.
