[DigitalDaily] UI-UX specialist Tobesoft and content creation company JL Standard announced on the 9th that they will jointly launch AI memorial service 'Soul Link' to target the Japanese funeral market.
Soul Link is a personalized service that allows people to pay tribute to the deceased by recreating their voices, videos, and memories with AI. The new service is being jointly developed with a Japanese-listed company that operates the largest crematorium in Japan.
Through this collaboration, Tobesoft will introduce various partnership products, including AI-based funeral welfare products and shukatsu (end-of-life) services. Previously, Tobesoft invested 25.96% in JL Standard.
"The funeral market in Japan, the world's largest aging country, is worth 2 trillion yen (approximately 18.4 trillion won)," said Tobesoft. "Starting with Japan, this will be a turning point in proving Korean technology competitiveness in the global AI memorial market and presenting an innovative funeral culture for an aging society."
