Tobesoft to Build ‘Phamesthetic’ Commerce Platform, Accelerating Digital Transformation in the K-Beauty Industry

Strengthening UI/UX and e-commerce capabilities to create an AI- and cloud-based hybrid ecosystem

UI/UX and e-commerce platform specialist Tobesoft (CEO Kim Moranhee) has officially launched the advancement project for ‘Phamesthetic,’ the distribution platform of comprehensive cosmetics company Pharmearth, accelerating the digital transformation (DX) of the K-beauty market.

Tobesoft announced on the 19th that it will participate as a key partner in the Phamesthetic commerce platform development project. The project is being jointly carried out with commerce consulting company ELUO C&C and aims to establish a “hybrid platform” that combines community features and on-demand services beyond traditional transaction-based e-commerce.

The core of the project lies in strengthening data-driven connectivity. Tobesoft plans to enhance the platform’s technical capabilities by implementing its high-performance SaaS commerce solution, ‘TOBEMALL,’ along with its cloud-based DevOps solution, ‘Tobe DevOps.’ In particular, the company will fully migrate the existing on-premises environment to AWS cloud infrastructure, enabling a more flexible and scalable system optimized for the AI era.

The newly developed Phamesthetic platform will feature advanced functionalities including ▲GA and CRM-integrated data analytics ▲personalized recommendations and subscription-based commerce ▲real-time consultation and community services ▲automated operations and ROI management systems. Through these capabilities, the platform aims to maximize interactions among suppliers, consumers, and industry experts while building a data-driven digital ecosystem.

Founded in 2019, Pharmearth has rapidly grown based on its expertise in functional cosmetics development and professional distribution networks. Backed by a strong brand portfolio including ‘Conapidil’ and ‘aXENDA,’ the company recorded KRW 50 billion in revenue and an operating profit margin exceeding 27% as of 2024. Through this platform enhancement initiative, Pharmearth plans to establish new business models focused on cross-network revenue generation and customer loyalty expansion.

A Tobesoft representative stated, “In the rapidly evolving e-commerce environment, the competitiveness of the K-beauty industry depends heavily on the technological capabilities of its platforms. By leveraging Tobesoft’s expertise and technical know-how in e-commerce platform development, we will provide optimized solutions to support Pharmearth in achieving sustainable growth.”

Meanwhile, Tobesoft has strengthened its position in the e-commerce platform market by successfully delivering major public and private commerce projects in Korea, including those for KOTRA buyKOREA, Lotte Home Shopping, and Hyundai Home Shopping.
