TOBESOFT Establishes Integrated Info System for Seoul Tech

TOBESOFT said on March 3 that it has completed the integrated information system of Seoul National University of Science & Technology based on its nexacro platform.
The Integrated Info System of the university is a next-generation academic affairs management system used by both undergraduate and graduate students that combines the functionalities of an accredited engineering education system, an international exchange system, and a general administrative system. The students currently use the system for registering for courses and getting a variety of certificates like transcripts while the university administrators take advantage of the system for their daily tasks.
TOBESOFT adopted web standards for the Integrated Info System of Seoul National University of Science & Technology to create an HTML5-based system that would be available through the proprietary browser. The same service is also made available through Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, and others to maximize user convenience. By allowing users to select the system operating environment of their choice, the system makes it easier and faster for users to gain access to academic affairs services. It also provides links to previously hard-to-reach contents within the system, thereby permitting students and administrators to access the information within the system more easily.
Yang Joo-seung, senior manager at the computing center of Seoul National University of Science & Technology, said, "The Integrated Info System has evolved into a highly customized system for educational purposes in the process of UI sophistication and unifying disparate sub-systems. Now users can have a unified interface by which they can intuitively use services on academic affairs pages.
